What about taking position as someone who is tied strongly to the ancient culture but also believe in post modernism?

In all its manifestations, modernism is associated with the ideas of progress and confidence which are the classic form of capitalism in its supremacy. Such as a contrast with the belief 'protecting mother earth' and 'relying on the nature only' which commonly owned by an indigenous like me. Should an indigenous woman fight against the world that drawing all human kind to change following its transition in many levels of ages? Should she be drowned deep by the rapids of symbolic freedom of feminism or standing on her ground of value?
